Resolved question:
Have diabetes type for 14 years. It has being controlled but over past months developed hypertension. Leg edema, as cites, and pneumonia. Now dr says to see a white nodule in my lung x-Ray. Never smoked, never being second hand smoker. Also being vomiting about 3 times a week and dr also said renal insufficiency. What cause those symptoms all at once? And how to remediate

Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com. I understand your concern.
Most of the diabetics are at risk for developing kidney disease and hypertension. Swellings in the legs and face may be due to ' diabetic nephropathy ' which is due to loss of lot of protein in the urine. Diabetics are vulnerable for infections as they are immunosuppressed and lack active bacteria suppressing qualities. TB is one such infection snd diabetics are vulnerable for that.
You should get evaluated for TB but you need not worry as it is easily detectable and also easily treatable. No disease comes suddenly and it prepares itself for several months and years before manifesting itself . You can get few more investigations done and not worry at all.
I would appreciate if you please upload the xray too.
Hope this helps, please feel free to discuss further.
Regards
