You must realize that looking at a picture has its limitations, unlike properly examining you physically.
The lesion DOES seem suspicious for herpes.
If you have had unprotected sex and potential exposure, that is the first possibility to be excluded.

PLease schedule a proper appointment, and have the blood testing as well as swab from the lesion ( it is a good time when you actually have the lesion to conclusively establish a diagnosis instead of living in uncertainty ).

If the tests are negative, this could be a skin infection ( hair follicle infected with superimposed pus formation ) , however herpes seems to be the first possibility unfortunately.

Before going in for any OTC medication or ointment, please get the relevant tests done.

It is definitely not something resulting from a razor.

Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

From the picture, the lesions seem to be of herpes.

In genital herpes, there are fluid filled blisters in clusters. That's what it seems to be.

Herpes is caused by a viral infection and can vs treated with oral just intake of anti viral medications called valacyclovir to be taken for a week.

It will require a prescription from your doctor.

Application of mupirocin cream will also be helpful in the healing of lesions, as there also seems to be secondary bacterial infection.
