I had a question regarding paternity.Few days before I get sexual with awomen and she got pregnant .Date was in august and child was born in July.Is it due to its picture of genital warts?

Hi doctor, I am 23 years old male don’t use to smoke neither drink had a question regarding paternity. On November 1st I slept with a women and after that she got pregnant and the date given by the doctor was 5th august but the child was born before the date that is 28th July.After some days I came to know that the women used to sleep with another man at the time.So I want to know about the chances of the baby that he is mine and also the medical evidence that supports it ,and the person who use to sleep is older than me and he also use to smoke.

Thanks for your question and concern According to you, you had a sexual intercourse on 1stNovember with that women and you also know that she is sleeping with another guy at the time and the date given by the doctor was 5th august and the child was born before the date on 28th July so the chances of baby being yours is very low because the date of conception must be 8th to 16th November and you got sexual on 1st November so chances is low. I would suggest you that you can take help or you can request your health care for a paternity test that will ensure your doubts. Do go for paternity test and be sure for it.Best wishes
