Hi,
Thanks for contacting us.
It is true that detecting early and mild symptoms of HIV helps in better and timely treatment of HIV/AIDS. Depending upon the infection, many patients describes onset of mild symptoms such as fever, headache, swollen lymph, sore throat and rash. These mild symptoms persist for two to four weeks. During this period, the immune system will slowly come under attack and ultimately see a decrease in helper T cells (CD4 lymphocytes) as a result. Various other mild symptoms of HIV include coughing, diarrhea, weight loss, fever, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, joint pain and shortness of breath. People affected with HIV may also suffer from mild symptoms like enlarged nodes in neck, groin and armpits.
If you notice any such symptoms and hardly getting relief even by taking medications, rush to doctor for getting tests done as prescribed by your doctor. Do not hesitate to talk to doctor about anything that you feel so that you can get proper treatment.
