High mood with HYPOMANIAC SYMPTOMS on CELEXA, LAMICTAL, AMBIEN.

Resolved Question:

I've been experiencing hypomanic symptoms for the last 4 days, including more energy than usual, not being sleep, more fidgeting and doodling, high mood. I like it, but not sure if it's medication induced. I take celexa 20mg in am and lamictal 200mg at night and 75mg of nortriptyline also. I take ambien for sleep every night. Please let me know what you think.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Celexa and Nortriptyline are good antidepressants but have a risk of switching if you have a tendency of being bipolar and same it seems has happened here. It would be advisable to meet your doctor and get him infomred. You need to come off both these antidepressant and start with a mood stabilizer like divalproex sodium or lithium. This will take care of your hypomania and further depression as well.
You may continue taking ambien at present as it will not interfere with your mood.
