Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Sometimes, mild spotting is normal in pregnancy, especially if it is not accompanied by ominous signs such as cramps, pain in the lower abdomen, fainting , bright red bleeding with clots , fever etc.
However, you should not neglect such spotting.
You should immediately consult an Obstetrician and go for a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan that will document the well being of the baby, and also reveal the cause of the spotting, if there is one.
Meanwhile, take rest.
Avoid intercourse, stress, standing for prolonged hours, lifting heavy weights or straining yourself.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards.
