Resolved question:
I just a got a very small (smaller than a dime) 3rd degree burn on the top of my middle finger while reaching for a bagel inside a toaster oven. The area is waxy white. Can I wait until the morning to see a doctor? I do not feel much pain either. I don't feel any symptoms of shock, and the length of contact was very very short, a fraction of a second.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
With such a small area of burn, you should not worry. Make sure the area is clean. You can wait till morning to see the doctor. If you have an ointment like Soframycin or any silver sulphadiazine ointment, you can apply it on the burn wound.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
