Resolved question:
Hi
My question is purely out of curiosity. I do not suffer from any disease but it is however of interest to me.
What food/supplements can be used to counteract the effect of SOCS (Suppressor of Cytoking Signalling, SOCS-2 in particular) as it is a protein that is involved in the negative feedback loop which attenuates GH and IGF-1 signalling via the inhibition of the JAK/STAT pathway.
I know that high levels of free fatty acids (accumulated from the effect of GH breaking down lipids) creates a negative growth hormone response, perhaps from the increased level of induced insulin response, but that may work via a separate mecahnism, I'm more interested in SOCS suppression.
Your response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
Sorry I could not find any information on food items that could counteract SOCS-2. I did discuss with the team , but unfortunately we will not be able to help in you this regard.
You can get a full refund. Please drop an email request to support@doctorspring.com
Alternatively you can keep the consult indefinitely open in case you need it later for other medical queries.
Sorry for the inconvenience
Thank you
