Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Since the intercourse ( oral as well as anal ) was protected, there is no risk of HIV or other STDs.
Coincidentally you can just be suffering from a bacterial infection making you weak.
The only realistic infection that you can acquire is mononucleosis if your partner is mono positive at the time of the exposure.
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Thank you for that answer doctor. It does put my mind at ease somewhat. However, if the person I was with had a chlamydia or gonorrhea infection in their throat, could that be what my body is fighting? I don't have a sore throat but there is more phlem there than usual.
Thanks.
Hello,
It is highly unlikely that gonorrhoea or chlamydia firstly can cause infection in the throat, and then can be passed on.
Chlamydial infection of the throat is possible if there is unprotected oral sex involved.
So, kindly do not worry.
Regards.
