Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
A liver size of 16.5 cm may not indicate cirrhosis.
I would like to have the complete report of the liver panel.
His ALT and bilirubin is on the higher side and indicates hepatitis.
What symptoms is he having and for how long?
Any other medical illness he has?
Is he on any medications?
Does he drink alcohol?
Please get back to me with these information.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

Hello Dr.R, thank you for your reply
Actually, he just did these tests for now, and he did (from 3 months) before the hepatitis tests and they were negative.
Also, I attached some previous immune analysis from 3 months ago
From one year ago till now, (Symptoms) he is feeling continuous fatigue usually, he can’t stand the sun (no desire to be in the sun) which could results of a fast headache, gabs/spaces among his teeth has been noticed, sometimes pain in his muscles, he has difficulty in food digestion, constipation and flatulence, in addition to the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (spastic colon).
Yes Dr.R, he is on medications from 3 months ago
Pennel , Ursoplus and Lipanthyl
He is kind of careless in taking the pennel and lipanthyl, but now he is a kind of taking them in a regular way.
He doesn’t drink alcohol at all
Please Doctor, Could you let me know what he has exactly and what is your recommendations/medications to help him? And what about his high TSH test?
Hi,
Thanks for the additional information.
As per his reports he is having fatty liver disease.
The probable causes are high blood glucose and abnormal lipid levels.
He is already been on medications for abnormal lipid levels.
His ALT is High and he is positive for Anti smooth muscle antibody.
This could be due steatohepatitis ( Fatty liver related hepatitis). But the various scores in the report says that there not much of fibrosis or fat or steatohepatitis.
The positive antismooth muscle antibody may indicate autoimmune hepatitis.
I would advise you to consult your hepatologist and discuss about the possibility of autoimmune hepatitis.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
