Early vaginal spotting on stopping BIRTH CONTROL.

I had the stomach flu on tusday through friday I dint take my birth control because it wouldnt stay down. my period is next week. its saturday. I now have spotting 6 days early. is this normal to be off a little when I miss at least 3 days of my pills?
