Every person who indulges into the practice of unprotected sex with multiple partners is at high risk of developing sexually transmitted disease. Due to reasons of public health, men and women may be completely without any symptoms after contracting a STD. with no symptoms; both men and women continue to engage in unprotected sex and transmit this ailment to others. STDs like Chlamydia and gonorrhea can cause symptoms like penile discharge, burning with urination, testicular tenderness. At times STDs may cause non-specific symptoms like in case of transmission of HIV. In such a case, symptoms like fever, rash and diarrhea may occur.
If you had unprotected sex, get yourself checked by primary healthcare physician. Blood tests for HIV and hepatitis can b done, and urine tests can be used to test for the presence of gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
