Cold, fever, headache, chills. Can I take CEPHALEXIN?

Resolved Question:

I was prescribed Cephalexin in 05/10/14 that I didn't finish. I have a cold/fever,headache, chills, and drowsiness again, I was wondering if I could take it. It expired in 10/16. There are 9/40 left.

I am slightly confused. You said it expired in 10/16, just a confirmation did you mean to say it expires on October 2016?
Also what were you diagnosed with last time?
A cold with fever mostly signifies URTI, and i will rather recommend Tab. Augmentin ( Amoxycillin + Clavulanic Acid 650 mg ) twice daily for 7 days along with a multivitamin.
How long have you been having your symptoms??

It just says discard:10/16. I don't have a stuffy nose. Im not sure what i was diagnosed, but I think it was bronchitus. I also tried eating but now my stomach feels uncomfortable.

Thank you for the follow up.
So it still has not expired. Currently you're having symptoms suggestive of URTI, so i will rather advise you Augmentin.
But if going and getting the prescription from the physician is not possible, then you can continue with Cephalexin twice a day after food. In viral infections, there will be some amount of gastric discomfort.
