Hi,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.
I am Dr.Ratnakar Kini and I am pleased to assist you.
Vomiting in the morning along with heaviness in the stomach after meals along with burping could indicate dyspepsia and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
She may require a course of medications like omeprazole or zantac.
In addition to the medications she needs to avoid fatty food, coffee, citrus, tomatoes, carbonated beverages, chocolates.
She needs to avoid eating full stomach.
Instead she needs to take smaller frequent meals.
I hope that answers your question.
Regards,
Dr.Ratnakar Kini

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me with more questions.
Yes, you can continue giving Pan 20 and sucralfate tablet.
Regarding the diet to prevent acidity, I have already mentioned in my previous post. You have also mentioned you are avoiding those food items.
For 8 years of age, the ideal weight is around 25 kg.She is more than 80 percent of it which is infact a good one.
But the more ideal thing to do is to mark her weight in the growth chart. Her Pediatrician would have given the growth chart. You keep marking the weight on it. If the curve lies flat or goes downwards, then intervention is needed. Otherwise no need for any intervention and also it indicates that she is getting adequate nutrition. The diet you have mentioned is good very good actually and looks balanced too.
So just just continue with what you are doing now. Jut monitor her growth with a growth chart.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
