Resolved question:
Dear doc,
24 yr old male diagnosed with low testosterone. My endo perscribed me clomid 25 mg a day to get my levels up. Have been on it for three days but have felt terrible. Very emotional and semi depressed. I read clomid can increase estrogen in men is this possibly what I'm feeling?

Hello. Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com. The mechanism of action of clomiphene to increase Testosterone levels, also may lead to these side effects that you are experiencing. Not due to estrogen. Also, further tests such as LH, FSH, Prolactin; are required to know the cause of your low Testosterone. I hope this was helpful. Let me know if you have any further queries. Thank you.
However, in your case, it will be better if Testosterone replacement is given, unless your sperm counts require treatment and you contemplate having children in near future. Testorenone supplementation will not have such side effects.
Thank you I spoke to my endocrine who and decided to discountiue clomid and begin androgel. Still not feeling great however wondering how long it takes for the clomid to wash out of your system?
Thanks for choosing doctorspring.com
Give it 1-2 weeks. And let the optimum effects of Androjel to set in.
