Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Since how long are you having these symptoms - burning and itching ?
Also, it is better to have a vaginal swab to confirm the infection before taking treatment.
Vaginal infections maybe fungal ( yeast ), bacterial, chlamydial ( virus ) and the wrong treatment blindly can aggravate symptoms.
So the next step is to go for a vaginal swab and culture.
Of course, if you can upload pictures of the areas where you are having burning and itching, I might try and see if I can add to the diagnosis, since I understand you do not have access to ideal medical conditions.
So please try and upload clear pics of these areas.
Also please upload the urine report, I hope a urine routine microscopy as well as a urine culture test was done for you ?
Meanwhile drink lots of water.
Avoid unprotected sex till this clears off.
Apply aloe vera gel or ice packs until you know exactly what kind of infection it is, and what treatment would work.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
Patient replied :
I will try to get lab paperwork. I was tested for UTI and it was negative. I was tested for STD's, all but herpes and they were negative. Negative for yeast also. Doctor gave me medicine to take for UTI (phenazopyridine) 2 tablets, 3 times a day. I have some relief from the vaginal burining and discharge seems to be clearing up, but still have burning sensation on the back of my legs. I really do not know what is going on. I can't eat or sleep because of the unknown. No rash is present on back of legs. Burning is more intense when sitting down. Standing up it feels so much better.
Just try applying some ice packs or aloe vera gel on that area.
Also some local Clotrimazole ointment, that would help.
