Hello,
Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring.
From the description of your symptoms it does appear to be a yeast infection or Candida infection. However a confirmed diagnosis will require further testing. It is safe to assume that this is candida and to start treatment. Canesten cream is a good first line treatment option. You can apply it twice daily (once before sleep, and then in morning hours), over the lesion.
I assume that you are not breastfeeding, and also that there is no lesion over the nipple.
It is very important to make sure the breasts and the areas under the breasts and always staying dry. Never allow moisture or swear to stay there for long.
With the cream you should see improvement in a week.
If that is not the case you might have to visit your Doctor for further testing.
Hope this helps
Please feel free to ask followup questions.

Patient replied :
No, I am not breastfeeding.
Do you have any suggestions as to how to keep it completely dry?
You can make sure that after taking a bathe you are mop drying using a cotton towel. Wait for some time before you put on your bra. If possible avoid bra altogether and wear a cotton top or something.
Do not use body lotions or creams for 2 weeks.
Avoid sweating if possible. Dry up soon if it happens.
Hope thie helps
Thank you
