Resolved question:
I am a breast cancer survivor of 4 years. Was stage 1a and on femara. Care plan is rotating mammogram and mri every 6 months. I had an mri last week and breast is fine. But a small area on my rib was seen. I did have rib pain few months ago from pushing something. I have mri and area looks round. Can you review the scan? Here is link to the scan:

Should I be concerned about the rib?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
The lesion in the rib does look suspicious for metastasis , especially in view of your history .
I would recommend a biopsy of the rib lesion to be 100 % sure ..
Feel free to discuss further,
Thanks
My doctor did not seem concerned. I recently tried to push something and felt a pain in the area almost like a pop so my rib was sore for weeks. Could injury possibly cause this to show up? Lastly my doctor wAs not going to do anything about it.. Since I said I injured myswlf she said to do a bone scan. I was stage 1 breast cancer, 4 years ago how can this be a metastasis?
