Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.
I am Dr.R..K and I am pleased to assist you.
Bleeding from the rectum could be due to many different causes. Some of the common causes of bleeding per rectum are haemorrhoids, fissures, polyps and inflammatory bowel disease.
The most common causes being hemorrhoids and fissures. They are usually associated with constipation. Since you have itching also these are more likely. Having a good bowel movement by taking fibre supplements like metamucil and eating high fiber diet and drinking lot of water would provide relief. You can use a OTC Anti-Haemorrhoid ointment for 10 days. This will give relief for the itching also. And remember having high fibre food is very important.
A per rectal examination followed by colonoscopy ( if needed can find out the cause.)
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

i need to do colonoscopy what should i do can you please refer me a doctor in Finland, Turku
Hello,
I am from a different country. So I may not be able to refer you to a doctor in Finland.
You can discuss with your primary care physician and request for a gastroenterologist for colonoscopy. If the Piles / Hemorrhoids are obvious in examination by your Doctor you will need Colonoscopy at all.
Thank you

Thanks for quick reply doctor.can i take up to 100 gram of chicken a day because i do training and nature of my job is that i walk all the time through the whole day oofcourse i beans and veges.
I usually take Oatmeal 3 to 4 times a day so i mix milk with it. Is it ok if i use Soy or Almond milk instead cow milk. And most importantly i have ordered "Butcher's Broom" capsules . how much dosage i should take a day
Hello,
Since butcher's broom is a herbal supplement I am not sure of the dose. You can follow the instructions insert. However it is NOT proven to be beneficial, so I would recommend you to post pond taking them.
Here is a list of high fibre food items from Mayo clinic - http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/high-fiber-foods/NU00582
Make sure you have atleast 50g intake per day.
Soy milk/ almond milk is OK. Chicken is also OK provided you get enough fiber via other food.
Hope this helps
