Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I can understand your concern.
A boil is usually caused by a bacterial infection of the skin . If in close contact with the lesion for a long time it could be contagious.
However i will need to see the lesion to make sure what is it. I would like to request you to send a picture.
Meanwhile i would recommend application of Mupirocin cream twice a day for a week and see if it helps.
Feel free to discuss further,
Thanks

Dont have a picture but my boyfriend said his was swollen red sore and I think it had stuff coming out of it. But my main concernbis that I never had a boil while in contact with him. And now hes throwing up, and has diarhea really bad. He says its from jack in the box which it probably is. But could I have transferred some kind of disease to him even when I wasnt broken out with a boil around him. Or is it just a coincidence?
