BIOGRAPHY

Vikas Kothavade is an eminent  oncologist. He completed his MBBS from renowned Grant Medical College, Mumbai.  He completed his post-graduation and senior residency in radiation oncology in esteemed Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He is working as a chief oncologist since last 6 years. He has experienced in many special radiation therapy procedures like 3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, brachyherapy and chemotherapy. He was awarded fellowship of European society of therapeutic radiation oncology  in high precision radiotherapy . He completed his high precision training at Vu medical centre,Amsterdam ,Netherlands . He got honor to present his work on “Hippocampal sparing high precision radiotherapy techniques” in 10th meeting of “Asian Society of Neuro-Oncology”. He believes in comprehensive cancer care and social cancer awareness. He has shown his active participation in national and International conferences like AROI-ASTRO, ESMO, ASNO etc.
