BIOGRAPHY

Dr Amit Bhasin is a specialist and a Gold medalist in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases with 14+ years of experience after his postgraduation. He provides comprehensive consultation, examination, diagnosis and treatment of various Gastrointestinal diseases including Liver, Hepatitis B and C, Pancreatobiliary, Inflammatory bowel diseases (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns disease),Celiac and Nutritional diseases.

Dr. Bhasin has worked as an independent Endoscopist at Oxford University Hospitals, where he performed diagnostic and therapeutic Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy. He has also served as a Senior Clinical Fellow in the Department of Translational Gastroenterology Unit at John Radcliff Hospital, Oxford Hospitals, Oxford, NHS trust, UK. Before this, he was working as a Consultant in Manipal Hospital in Dwarka, New Delhi and Associate Consultant in Gastroenterology department in Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon.

He has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi. Dr. Amit Bhasin underwent training in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy in various national as well as internationally reputed hospitals. His training in the field of Gastroenterology at Oxford University Hospitals has been certified by the Royal College of Physicians of London. He has also completed his hands-on certificate training in the subject of ERCP from Jaswant Rai Hospital in Meerut.

Dr Bhasin has been a visiting fellow for training in various advanced therapeutic procedures in Endoscopy including ERCP and EUS at European Endoscopy Training Centre at Gemelli Hospital, Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. In his experience, he has also served as a former course faculty in International Council for Critical Emergency Sonography at AIIMS, New Delhi. Also, he completed his Senior Residency in the field of Medicine from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has also worked as a Sub-Investigator in Oxford University Hospital, the UK for international clinical trials to learn the use of novel drugs in treating complex Irritable Bowel Diseases.

He has numerous research publications in various national and international journals in the medical field to his name.
