Thank you for using Ask a doctor service from Doctor spring.
Firstly, there are lot of conditions which could cause head ache with dizziness. To evaluate the cause in your condition, you will have to give a little more detailed history about the headache and dizziness. Is your headache occurring in any particular time of the day? Do you often get headache in the past? Are you feeling slightly light headed on standing or a feeling of room spinning around you? Have you felt any difficulty in balancing your body during walking? Do you get floaters in eyes when you get headache? What usually triggers you headache? Do you wake up with headache? Have you had any head injury? Have you checked your blood sugar? Please try to reply to this, which will help me to evaluate your problem better.
The most common conditions which cause headache and dizziness are migraine, tension headache, middle ear infection and labyrinthitis, to name few. However, for a definite diagnosis, you must consult a GP/ ENT specialist doctor. If the headache worsens or dizziness extends for long time then you must immediately consult with GP. For the time being, till you get appointment from GP you can use NSAIDs like Paracetamol 500 mg-1000 mg during the time of headache. It should not be used for long term since it causes side effects.
