I understand that your father was asymptomatic and was asked to take an x ray on your compulsion.
Chest x ray has revealed nothing active, that requires treatment at present.
He had tuberculosis some time in the past, which has healed, and is not infective/ requiring treatment at present.
So as long as your father is asymptomatic, he does not need any treatment
If he has any issues currently, please mention and I will guide you further,
Regards

Patient replied :

Yes doctor he has dry cough from last 1 month which is not becoming less.

Dear patient,
Is there any associated fever or weight loss? Any worsening of symptoms associated with day time or night time? Any postural change noted? Is it associated with running nose or any other symptom?
If answer is negative to all, I would suggest a cough suppressant like dextromethorphan or codine. Your family physician can give a prescription for the same. Also take a anti ulcer medicine like rabeprazole + domperidone - one tablet in empty stomach and avoid spicy food.
All these are symptomatic treatment. X ray changes do not warrant any treatment. If symptoms persist, do follow up.
Hope this helps, would be glad to discuss further.
