Resolved question:
Hi there,
40 year old male from NZ. In Mauritius on business. I have a weird sore on my leg. Doesn't hurt. May have been itchy. Noticed it last night and it was yellowish with dark at edges. Today the edges are turning red snd moving their eay inwards. It seems totally flat. Could cancer develop this quickly or is it more likely an insect bite? I have quite a few mosquito bites, but none like this one. I have pictures of it yesterday and today
P.S. Do have allergies to cats and dogs.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Let me assure you first that the lesion is neither cancerous nor it has the potential to turn cancerous in future.
It looks like bacterial infection which can occur secondarily to insect bite.
To treat the same, you may apppy an antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin. Also clean the area with betadine solution or plain luke warm water twice in a day. Hopefully the lesion should resolve in five days. .
Hope this helped. Should there be any doubt, please write back.
