I understand your concern.
I have seen the images that you sent, and the abscess looks really big.
In such cases where it has not resolved in over a month, it needs to be excised.
However you can try applying Mupirocin ointment 3-4 times a day for about a week. If it starts shrinking in size then it will subside.
Otherwise you need to get it excised.
