Hello,
Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring. The throat pain is not suggestive of HIV. However since you has sex without precaution you do have a risk of HIV transmission. Although practically you should be safe if the sex was NOT with a commercial sex worker.
You should get a HIV test done. This is available in all major labs and Government hospitals. (free in Govt hospitals). You can ask for HIV ELISA test. You should do it after 5-6 weeks of the sexual encounter.
Hope this helps
Please feel free to ask followup questions.
Thank you

Thanks for reply Dr., I done the test after 5, 7, 10 weeks but all negative in 11 th week I got cough, soar throat and mild fever 99.3, is this a symptom of hiv, when it started I take test which is negative, I am confused, I read on Internet that these are the symptoms of hiv
Hello,
No , these are NOT symptom of HIV. This can be common flu or viral infection. HIV can have over 100 kind of manifestations. So basically many symptoms can occur in HIV. This does not mean these symptoms mean HIV alone. Since you have repeated negative tests you need not worry.
Thank you
