Hello
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com. I can understand your concern.
Black marks following pimples sometimes happen if you are in the habit of breaking your pimples. At times they do occur as a natural progression to pimples.
In order to treat pimples, you can apply clindamycin gel on the pimples twice a day and tretinoin 0.025% cream at night for two hours. This will help in resolving pimples as well as the black marks.
Hope this helps your concern.
Take care

Hi Dr. Kruti,
I have two follow up questions:
1) Just wabted to be sure if any of the two medicines suggested have any side effects.
2) In US, both the medicines need prescription. Can I get presecription using this website service.
Hello.
Thank you for the follow up.
No both the medicines are safe and there are no side effects. Clindamycin is a very common antibiotic used for local application and tretinoin is a form of vitamin a which is also commonly used for treating acne. So please do not worry.
As for the prescription, you will need to contact your local physician and get the prescription. It can't be done through this website.
Please apply the medicine for a week and let me know if there is some improvement.
Regards.
