Patient replied :
I am alergic to sulfa and iam taking the following for hypertentsion: lisinopril 10 mg ,atenolol 25 mg .Also I teake protonix 40 mg. the pain is dull on and off. I it is relieved whe i lay down and I using heat packs. The hemicolectomy Was to remove a polyp. Biopsy was negative. Since the surgery my bowel movements have increased up to 4 or five times a day.also had an stomach flu 3 weeks ago. I am currently working at another state and can go to my doctor

Your pain is most probably due to hyperacidity. Please continue taking omeprazole 1 tablet for 10 days. Please see a doctor as sson as possible for physical examination.
