Hello
Thanks for posting your query on DoctorSpring.com
I can understand your concern and can see the rash.
This seems to be acne. Being in the sun and on a yoga mat for too long could cause occlusion and acne as a result of that. In addition there is also an associated allergy.
I would recommend application of cortisone cream once a day for a week and clindamycin gel twice a day.
That should help in treating the acne and the allergy.
Please let me know if you have any queries.

Thanks for your response.
I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by 'there is also the associated allergy' - an allergy associated with what? I'm not clear on this, or why the amount of time spent on a yoga mat could cause this rash.
I have never had this response from my skin from being in the sun, which is why I remain concerned and unsatisfied that this is the cause.
If it is indeed acne, is it possible to develop just a 'one-off' bout of acne, or is this something which will now repeat?
If it is acne, will it go away on it's own with no treatment?
Many thanks.
Hello
Thanks for your reply.
This is acne. It can be a one off thing or it could repeat and won't go away without treatment. Being in the sun or contact for a long time on a mat which causes occlusion is known to trigger acne.
I would recommend that you apply the creams as i recommended.
Take care
Regards.
