Tiny whitehead pimples in stomach. BUGBITE?

Resolved Question:

Hi,
Over the weekend, I was at my aunt's house. On Monday or Tuesday night, I noticed 3 pimple looking spots on my stomach, one on the left side, two on the right side. There are also some tiny, painless, whitehead looking spots on the right side (maybe 4 of those). None of these itch. The larger ones are slightly sore when pressing on them, red, and have a raised center, the way a pimple would be. On Wednesday (yesterday) after coming home from the gym, I noticed 2 more pimple looking/feeling spots on the left side near my breast, under where my sports bra was. Over the weekend, I had gone tubing in a life vest on Saturday, and on Monday went fishing in the heat (lots of sweating), then showered, then walked around in 90 degree heat (more sweating, and wearing slightly tight jean shorts. After that hour or two of prolonged sweating, I sat in the car for 3 hours on the way home. My question is, do you think that these bumps are the result of profuse sweating and tight clothing, or bedbugs? My aunt has a very clean house, has not traveled lately, and we slept in the same bed 3 weeks ago with no red spots afterward. I am paranoid about bedbugs and I'm assuming that these spots are pimples with a little heat rash, but my hypochondriac mind is freaking out at the thought of bed bugs. My cousin had been traveling for months and stayed in a separate room on the same level of the house while we were there. He lives in NYC and has had bedbugs in the past, so I think he would have told us if he thought he had them again. I also don't think he had been on our bed or put his luggage on it. But we did have some laundry washed and dried in the same load. I am worried, but I know that I have a tendency towards anxiety and obsession when it comes to bedbugs. Basically, my fiancé thinks I'm just being crazy. I would love to believe that this is just my anxiety and pimples. What do you think, given the information and pictures? Thank you for reading this long and crazy post.

Hello.
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com

I can understand your concern.

These seem to be folliculitis which is a bacterial infection of the skin and happens in conditions of heat and humidity.

I would recommend application of neosporin cream twice a day for a week which will help in resolving these lesions

Since you are worried about bed bugs, in the future if you see any bed bugs on your bed or clothing etc, it would be best to get them eliminated as soon as possible.

Please let me know if you have any queries.

Take care,
Regards.
