I am having this problem for the past one year, I used to have a sore throat and the some pain on the sides of my tongue. There is also white cote on my tongue. But this white cote I used to have most of the times before also. Sometimes I used to get the pain(not exactly pain) at the tip of my tongue. I have consulted a doctor and he said that its because of my tongue hitting my teeth I get this problem.

I also had some problem in my stomach as I used to take food in hotel, so consulted a doctor and he has done endoscopy and he said there is nothing to worry but there is ANTRAL GASTRITIS and LAX OG JUNCTION.

What could cause this problem? Please advise. I just refereed Google for this problem and got scared because in some websites they have said that there may be a chance of having HIV. I also get tested HIV (ELISA method) 4 times in the past one year and all the results are NEGATIVE.

I also Taken other test like Complete Haemoglobin, Diabetes, LIVER functionality and everything was normal.

I also suffered from personal and official stress for the past one year whether the problem which I have now may be because of it ? Please advise.

Thanks for your reply. I have the problem in my tongue and throat(feel unconformable) and sometimes pain. Just consulted one MD doctor and he said that I may have acid reflux and because of that I am getting this problem often(LAX OG JUNCTION) and it will take time to get normal.

I also forgot to tell that I was under medication for the past one year, whenever i go to doctor they would give some vitamin tablets and antibiotics. I have taken those tablets while I was giving the tests(HIV and other) will it be a problem ? Will the result show negative when we take antibiotics?

Whether the problem which I has is because of over medication? or stress? Please advise. I also have thyroid problem and I am taking eltroxine 150mg daily in the morning.
