Resolved question:
I recently went to the doctor for a routine physical and they found that I had a swollen lymph node in my right groin (roughly 1-1.5CM). I had noticed this swollen lymph node roughly nine month earlier, but had mistaken it for a lipoma (of which I had several). After the examine, I also noticed a similar sized bump on the right side of my groin (though my doctor did not mention this during the examine). The lymph node is painless and mobile. Over the past nine months it has remained roughly the same size.
In the same visit, they found a small hard lump in the tubing of my right testicle (not attached to the testicle itself). He also found that the veins in my right testicle were dilated.
The doctor scheduled an ultrasound for me, but the earliest I can get in is at the end of January. Is this too long to wait given my symptoms? Further, I am concerned that this may be a symptom of lymphoma (I had a cousin, 21 year old, recently diagnosed with lymphoma).
I have no weight loss, fever, night sweats or chills. However, I read that these symptoms are not always present in individuals with lymphoma (and I read that the most tell-tale symptom is simply the swollen painless lymph node).
I am a 27 year old male, who is in generally good health. I am concerned that I need to seek out a second opinion and seek out an examine much sooner than the end of the month given my symptoms.

Hi
Thank you for your query to DoctorSpring.com
As per your description and image, you are having PHIMOSIS.
Routinely, you should retract the foreskin, clean the area beneath it with soap daily. The secretions which are called SMEGMA get collected there. If they are not washed, they get collected and attach the foreskin to the tip of the penis (Glans penis). In your image,it looks like Infection and inflammation of glans penis called BALANOPOSTHITIS.
First of all,get your Blood sugar level checked and exclude DIABETES.
Then, please consult a General surgeon and Urologist and go for CIRCUMCISION.
If the circumcision is not done, there will be pain during sex.As the foreskin is removed, you can have a normal sexual life.
Nothing to worry.
Circumcision is a simple day case procedure.
Please proceed with it.
Hope I answered your query.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
Doc, Circumcision is the only way? Is there any other treatment like ointment and medicine to retract the foreskin?

Please answer

Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
If the skin is too tight, even with a condom on there are chances of injuries.
So I will advise you to get the circumcision done. It is a very safe and common procedure and definitely a more healthier one since it prevents any kind of smegma accumulation in the future.
Regards.
