Swimming pool water got into nose. Risk of NAEGLERIA FOWLERI?

Resolved question:
Hello, I am worried about contracting the brain amoeba (naegleria fowleri) after getting water in my nose from swimming in warm water here in Texas last week. I am on day 6 now, and I don't feel bad and none of the symptoms I have seen online have shown up, but I have started to get a slight pressure in my sinuses. I am worried that this could be an early response to it. Can we please chat? I am very anxious. Thank you.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms and would like to reassure you that there is no need to worry about amoebic meningitis.
Your symptoms are not suggestive of brain fever caused by Naegleria fowleri. Symptoms to watch should be severe headache, fever and drowsiness.
Best wishes,
