I'm not sure if I'm just being silly or not, but I wanted to know if my concerns were valid enough for me to make an appointment with my doctor. I am a Caucasian male, 24 years old patientof age, 190lbs, a habitual smoker, and in average physical condition. In the last two to three years, I've started sweating profusely in my sleep. More often than not, it's bad enough that I need to wash my sheets in the morning. I'm also noticing that my body temperature is higher than it should be, though only by one and a half to two degrees. I have trouble breathing when I lay down, cough often, and experience a rather high rate of sinus drainage. Some days I will eat quite a lot, but there are often days where I simply have no appetite or desire to eat. Though, these I have attributed to my smoking habit. What troubles me most, is that my lymph nodes have swollen large enough to affect my hearing, and cause me severe pain when I ingest most types of alcohol. I've been told that these are signs of a rare form of cancer, but I don't know if I should be worried or not.
