Resolved question:
I have a couple spots below penis where it meets testicles that appear to look like skin tags, is it serious and is there a way I can fix it with out going to doctor? And also I used wart remover and it burned my skin and made problem areas white due to freezing it. Will my skin heal?

Hello,
Thank you for choosing DoctorSpring .
Will it be possible for you to upload a couple of photographs of the lesion. Also are you sexually active ? You can reply, upload images as a followup
Thank you
Yes, i sent a picture and outlined skin tags or what ever they are in red. And irriated skin from wart remover cream in blue. And i havent been sexually active for probly 3 months and they just appeared one day. Now i dont know if its getting to moist down there because i work alot and get sweaty if thats a factor or what. But they dont seem to be spreading. And i would have left them alone but every time i see them, i want them gone. And they look different from eachother so im curious to what they are.
Hello,
Thank you for choosing DoctorSpring.
It seems these lesions indeed are genital warts (mostly caused by HPV). The reason for the difference in morphology could be due to the previous application of wart remover. To honest the diagnosis is bit challenging for the same reason. I have upgraded the consult to the Dermatologist for free. Let's see what our Dermatologist has to go say.
Thank you

Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.
These are genital warts. They can take even a few months to show after exposure to the hpv virus.
The treatment for it would be application of aldara cream once daily at night for five days a week.
You will require a prescription for it.
Take care
Is it curable?
Hello ,
Genital warts usually tend to grow for about 6 months before they stabilize. Usually smaller warts clear by themselves. Bigger warts may require treatment.
Aldara cream (Imiquimod) clears the warts in upto 85% cases. but in about a few cases the warts come back. Smaller warts generally respond better to treatment than larger ones.
If the cream does not work, other procedures are available like Cryotherapy, application of Trichloracetic acid, Electrocautery or surgical removal which are effective. These treatment options are provided by a dermatologist.
I hope this has helped.
Thankyou
