Hello. Thank you for your consultation. While many of the symptoms have gone away, I still have the white on my tonsils. In addition, the pink bumps on the back of my throat have now also developed white heads. Those don't seem to be getting any better, but worse. I was wondering if this is a normal part of the healing process.
If you are symptomatically better that means your throat infection is responding well to medicine. this
white on tonsil will improve soon. Some times food debris which get stuck in tonsillar crypts may
persist longer also, you need not worry about it as long as you do not have any throat pain or
difficulty in swallowing. you can complete the present course of medicine
hope this helps

Some of my symptoms have returned. The swelling in my lymph nodes in my neck haa gotten worse, as has the tightness and stiffness in my neck. I know have an earache in my right ear which is sensitive to the touch. Swelling had returned in my tonsils and the white is still there. I'mean in so much pain that it hurts to talk, eat, and swallow basically anything besides chicken broth. I woke up several times throughout the night because I couldn't breathe and felthe like I has choking on my own saliva. Is it time I go to a hospital here?
Hello.
These are sign of severe throat infection, you need to go to local hospital. If require they can start injection of antibiotics. They can do pus culture from throat to find causative bacteria and antibiotic sensitivity, or other required investigaions.
Hope this helps
