Soreness in pelvic region after unprotected sex.

Resolved question:
Hello, I've recently (4 days ago) met up with a woman I met not too long ago and we went on a date. Too make it short we had sex twice, unprotected and I'm ashamed to admit it's the single dumbest thing I've ever done. She of course assures me she's clean. But a couple of days after intercourse (and I don't know if it's just paranoia) I began to feel a sort of soreness in my pelvic region or rather my pubic area.
My doctor returns in a week from vacation so I have to wait until I can get a medical consult to get tested at a lab.

So I ask, is pelvic pain a symptom for any STD's? So far that's the only thing I've felt this past week, no itchiness, no warts, or anything else.

Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern
Pelvic pain is rare or very late feature in untreted STD in men
Do you have any other complaint like urethral discharge/ itching/ burning sensation/fever etc?
If not please do not worry for now.
Feel free to discuss further
Thanks

Patient replied :

No, nothing of the sort. I thought maybe the soreness might be something else from the action of intercourse itself, but as for visual side effects on the genitals there's nothing.

Patient replied :

Very well, thank you. One more thing. To which disease is the burning sensation associated with?

Burning sensation can be associated with either gonorrhoea/ chlamydial infection.
