Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Carbamide peroxide is used to soften and loosen ear wax, making it easier to remove. It can cause rash or burning sensation of skin, so should be used with precaution in children. 1-5 drops can be used in pediatric age group also but it should be used precaution and should be instilled in external auditory canal will dropper.
But other wax desolving drugs can be used in pediatric age very safely including paradichlorobenzene 2%. It is available in combination of benzocaine 2.7 % w/v, chlorbutol 5 % w/v, turpentine oil 15 % w/v, butylated hydroxyanisole 0.05 % w/v. it will not cause any burning sensation and rash.
Hope this helps,
Best regards
