It looks from your details that child is suffering from developmental dysplasia of hip.
At present it needs breakage of bilateral thigh bone and probable opening of hip joint,after this they will apply a spica cast at both legs.
Although she may need a physiotherapy for a short time. This all depends on how she recovers.
After surgery there are some chances of complications which generally do not occur, if proper precautions are taken.
- There are increased chances of complications with bilateral occurrence.
- There can be decrease vascularity of head of femur.
- There can be change in gait after surgery but that will be a good change.

Hello,
Here I have uploaded the pictures after the surgery for both thigh. Her Dr told us to use 'Von Rosen Splint' at bed-time and do alot of swimming activity! some other doctors told us that she needs another surgery to fix the other leg!
I really feel sad for her. we dont want to keep doing surgeries and wait for a couple of months with no assure benefit. PLEASE tell me what do we need to do? Do we need to do what her Dr said or Do another surgery?
