I have recently found out I'm pregnant ( I have taken 8 tests all are positive) I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome last year. I'm very worried I may miscarry. I'm also on anti depressants and I know they are not good for pregnant women. What should I do?

Can you tell me how far gone you are with your pregnancy ?
Celexa ( citalopram ) is pregnancy category C, so it should be avoided as far as possible during pregnancy.
If you have taken it so far, do not worry.
Risks of abortion or adverse fetal outcomes are very minimal.
Also, just history of PCOS itself does increase your risk of abortion, but with that condition, either you decide never to get pregnant, or you accept the risks and stay positive !
Take progesterone supplementation for the first trimester.
Rest well, avoid intercourse and stress, until the first trimester scan shows good cardiac activity in the baby.
Do not worry, as majority of women with PCOS go on to have a successful pregnancy and delivery.
You should talk to your therapist, and switch over to behavioural modification to help with your depression.
Dont stress out about the abortion, the odds of your having a healthy baby exceed your chances of miscarrying.

I am about 4 weeks along. I will try and stop taking celexa but when I get off of it I feel very light headed... Is there any vitamins or supplements I can take that will help?Where do I get progesterone supplements, do I need a prescription for it?

You have to stop Celexa, there is no doubt.
Your therapist will have to look for alternative strategies.
You cannot continue the pregnancy on Celexa.
Yes, you should be taking daily folic acid supplements.
Also, progesterone is available only on prescription.
