Resolved question:
Hello, I am Swagatam Ghosh, from Kolkata. I am 43 years old patientold and I have had a lump on my lower lip, for about 10-11 years old patientnow. I have visited an oral surgeon, who said it was only a mucous cyst and shouldn't be any problem. It is generally painless, except when I suddenly bite on it. It has pretty much remained constant for 10 years old patientnow, hasn't gone away. So, is it a mucous cyst or is it anything dangerous? I haven't had any problem with it, or any throat cancer symptoms in the last 10 years. But, should I get it removed? Is it really a mucocele or might it be something really harmful? Please help .
