I have certainly gained a substantial amount of weight from the age of 14 onwards but I do not have specific figures. My build seems to have completely changed my chest seems very prominent and out of proportion to the rest of my body which was the not the case prior to puberty. I have been dieting since the age of 14 to try and keep a relatively normal size, at many points I starved myself. However I would have an unbalanced appetite, some days I would be hungry all day and others I wouldn't be hungry at all such as today. I excercise everyday also to keep off the excessive weight that comes out of nowhere. For example in my first year of college I ran 5 km 4 days a week and went to the gym for an hour 4 days a week doing cardio and weights, I was still overweight. My body is definitely not working normally and I am fed up at this stage because I thought it may have been puberty. I have tried various laser treatments to get rid of the redness but I later found out it is not Rosacea. I even got semi-permanent eyebrow tattoos to make my face look fairly normal. I'm begging you to help me. I am sexually active and I do get morning erections, to answer your question. Please tell me you know what is wrong with me because my depression is getting worse. I used to be very popular and now I am a loner and a loser. I am in the middle of this picture in the grey t shirt
Let me discuss with our team Dermatologist and get back to you.
Thank you

Hello,
This may look like I am blaming everything on the hormones, but this is the fact. The hormonal fluctuation post puberty can cause these signs. Especially the redness of the face. At this stage nothing needs to be done.
You will need to take care of your weight and there is no excuse for that. Maintain a good nutritious diet (with a targeted intake of 1800Kcal per day after deducting exercise). If you are in good health do moderate to heavy intensity aerobics (not muscle building) . First aim should be wait loss alone.
Any dermatological intervention (laser treatment), permanent tattoo can be done only after 2 more years as any post pubertal changes has to settled. As per out Dermatologist opinion there is no need for any active treatment. If so needed can be considered later.
In the photograph you look absolutely fine and I do not understand why you are overly concerned to the level of depression. Cheerup. Exercise well . It should be all right.
Hope this helps
