Patient replied :
It is NOT a rash. The skin literally peels back around the bell, right were the bell of the penis meets the shaft. We use condoms and I make sure I am lubricated and even put ky around the bell before putting on the condomn. He would be absolutely mortified if he knew I was writing this, but in the interest of our marriage, I am trying to get some answers. One said it was a yeast infection but it's not because yeast medication doesn't help at all. It is like the skin is really thin and cannot take the thrusting motion at all. For literally weeks after making love it is red, bloody, burning and very uncomfortable. It is like the friction is just peeling the skin away. We have been married for 9 years, and this has never been a problem until the last year. I tried changing washing powders to a scentless, sensitive skin detergent. We have changed soaps to hypoallergenic soaps, we have tried multiple topical creams and nothing helps. I have taken him off all sugar, even though he is not diabetic, I have switched to gluten free diet. I am weary, and just want my husband back.

Hello
Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern.
From your description it did sound like yeast infection. But as you mention treating it as yeast infection didn't help.
I would appreciate it if there was a picture then it would be easier to diagnose.
Please let me know which yeast medications did he take.
At times multiple cuts can also be caused due to dermatitis. Hence its important to see the lesions.
Could you give me a list of the medications he has used so far.
Thanks
