I have seen the picture. It is absolutely normal. Asymmetry in tonsils size and shape is quite common . there is no abnormal growth. As you have marked a groove on left tonsil, it is tonsillar crept which is normal and sometime more prominent.Sometimes food particles can stuck in it, looks like yellow debris.
So you in need not to worry about it and neck pain is not related to it.

Thank you that is a relief just one thing I can feel a senstion like something is stuck when I swallow just below the left tonsil and behind the tongue but to the side if that makes sense
is there any way to reduce this feeling , as this is what made me look in my mouth in the first place

Foreign body sensation or irritation in throat is most commonly due to acid reflux. You can start following medicine-
Tab.rabeprazole 20 mg one in morning for 2-3 months
Life style changes including
Drink planty of water
Avoid spicy food
Quit smoking and alcohol consumption
