Resolved question:
I've been having a strange feeling on my left side of my face. On the 13th I had horrible sudden pressure down the back of my head and neck that went away in about 30 minutes.
Then after that intermittently I've sharp had ear pain, Which is gone today and now I'm just having pressure or a weird sensation. It's on my left side it is felt in different places depending on where I push. If I push on my jaw I have ear pressure. It feel like it's behing my eye, cheek, ear, jaw and sometimes left nostril. I feel like my vision is clear on the left side but Hazy? I can focus but it doesn't seem like I'm seeing 100% out of that eye. Any ideas? When I run my fingers under my earlobe along my jaw line I get a lot of pressure.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have noted your symptoms. These symptoms are suggestive of Trigeminal nerve involvement. This nerve supplies sensation to the face, ear, jaw, etc.
In addition, we need to check if the vision nerve (optic nerve) or the nerves that move the eye balls are affected or not. This can be done by clinical examination by a neurologist.
For relief of symptoms, you may take pregabalin capsules.
If symptoms persist for a few days, it would be better to go for MRI scan of brain to identify the cause of these symptoms.
I hope it helps.
Best wishes,

I haven't had any debilitating pain and zero face pain it's been pressure. I've had a few boughts in my ear if pain but it seems to be more around the jaw ear area. Do any of these syptoms coincide with recent tummy and bowel problems? I've had 3 strange recurrent stomach issues over the past 3 months. My jaw was popping yesterday. The headache scared me but I've been under a lot of stress so I don't know what that all plays a part in. How would I request an MRI? Symptoms cometely subside after 1 ibuprofen. I feel it all over but mostly in my jaw below my ear. I have been having some tooth problems in tht side as well. I wasn't expecting to hear from a neurologist. I'm scared now that I might have a brain tumor...
Thank you for getting back.
Recent tummy problems are most likely unrelated. However, the resulting stress can lead to pressure symptoms.
MRI can be prescribed by your doctor. Oncd you have the MRI, you can upload it and I will suggest further management.

My dr suggested tmj. However my plugged nose try out the day seems to affect my head pressure. No MRI was ordered. I'm not sure what to do now.
Thank you for getting back.
MRI is not urgently needed.
You can follow the advice of your doctors at present.
If your symptoms persist, then, you can discuss with your doctor regarding the MRI.
Best wishes,
