Please let me know how many weeks pregnant is she, and what are her symptoms. You cannot make a diagnosis of UTI at home. Please take her to the obstetrician for an evaluation to rule out other conditions and for urine testing - routine / microscopy plus urine culture. That will confirm UTI and identify the particular organism responsible for the infection.
Based on the reports, accordingly antibiotics will be started considering her weeks of pregnancy also.
What type of pain is she having - please do elaborate.
In general, if it is spasmodic colicky type of pain ( coming in bouts with rest in between ) - she can take an antispasmodic like Buscopan twice a day, till you see your doctor.
For constant pain, she can try taking OTC medication like Combiflam.
Please ask her to take lots of fluids - atleast 4 - 5 litres per day to ensure good urination, which will flush out the toxins.
ALso, avoid eating outside and have bland, fresh, home made food.
Avoid using public washrooms.

She is 5 month pregnant and the things she feel
being unable to pee properly
an uncontrollable urge to pee
frequent need pee
change in the amount of pee you pass (either more or less)
pain during sex
Pain in the kidney
constant pain in your back, pelvis or side
shaking and shivering
Yes, that is very suggestive of a UTI. Do not treat at home.
Please consult your doctor at the earliest.
Untreated UTI during pregnancy can lead to serious infections, and even preterm labour.
Please get the urine testing as advised, and also abdominal ultrasound , and then start the antibiotics as per the culture report.
