Resolved question:
I have been with some throat irritation and some reflux the last 1 month. About 1 week ago I noticed an outgrowth in my lingual left tonsil. I went to the doctor and he told me that it looks like a Papilloma he told me that he should remove it and that it may be pre-cancer. He also told me that he needs to see if my vocal cords are compromised. I went to another more experienced throat doctor and he told me that it is something that I should not worry about and should only monitor it. He also performed an endoscopy to see my vocal chords and told me they were fine, no papilloma there. I am worried about my throat. I don't know if I should go to remove it or leave it there. Is it contagious. If I do not remove it can other parts of my mouth and throat be compromised? Is it cancer? I am attaching some pictures that I took by myself in order for you to have a good look at my tonsils. It looks like outgrowth has the same color as my tonsils and with no white or other type of odd color. Can it be something different than a Papilloma? What should I do?
Maybe its not a Papilloma and only an outgrowth?
