Hi,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
It is definitely not a sexually transmitted disease. This skin lesion can be best defined as dry scabbed wound. It might have occurred to boil/ insect bite or eczema.
Just do warm water compresses over the area and apply a steroid antibiotic cream like fluticasone mupirocin cream twice in a day. If at all you have noticed any ooze or discharge, then a small course of oral antibiotic like amoxicillin-clavulanic acid 625 mg can be taken three times in a day for three to five days.
The lesion should heal in a week. Do not try to remove the scab.
Hope this helped.
Take care

Hello,
You can visit your doctor on Monday till then just do warm compresses over the area.
Well, a boil is a form of folliculitis where there is a little pus formation around a hair follicle.
Hope it will make it clear to you
Thanks
