Hello , I'm a healthy 19 year old girl ( who I guess should mention has panic attacks and is a hypochondriac )
but for the past few days I've been experiencing odd feeling of pain / stringing / itching in my left leg , sometimes I think it happens in my right leg but I'm unsure...
I'm on the birth control pill and I am not very active with exercising , I sit most the day and cross my legs often and I think I have poor circulation because my limbs easily fall asleep
I am worried I have a blood clot in my left leg
I have no swelling or redness
I do have tenderness to the touch in some areas behind my thigh
My mom seems to think its a pulled muscle but it feels different.....

I understand your concern.
I will start by assuring you, this definitely is not due to a blood clot, as the symptoms of that would be excruciating pain on any kind of movement in the calf area.
Yes, immobilization does increase the chances but, you're too young for a blood clot.
It could be a pulled muscle or the itching could also be due to an allergy or some skin condition.
You can try a course of Tab. Claritin 10 mg, once daily for a week and let me know if the itching subsides.

Thank you , that is reasuring I was trying to look up what it would feel like complared to a pulled muscle but no real luck
the itching only happens when I feel pain in my legs due to me being irritated by it? if that makes sense
although its almost 100% not a blood clot does the leg always swell? ( I have no swelling as I said before) also can the pain of blood clots travel ? or is it very confined to the area?
The pain of blood clots is confined to the calf and under the calf region.
Any kind of exercise or movements worsens it to an extent where you have to sit down.
And yes, there will be a sweeling associated with the clot.
